Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Orthopedic Team in the O’Fallon Primary and Specialty Care clinic. The MA will coordinate and perform hands-on clinical duties to support compassionate, patient-centered care for orthopedic and cardiac patients.

Ideal candidates have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program and possess relevant certifications. Full-time, 40 hours/week with a $5,000 sign-on bonus; benefits and career growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• 1+ years of MA experience may be considered in lieu of program completion per department discretion.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform hands-on clinical care to support orthopedic and cardiac patients.
• Support patient-centered care and assist therapists and providers as needed.
• Contribute to a team-based environment across the Orthopedics department.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $27.55 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Education Qualifications

10. 10. Certified Clinical MA (CCMA) from National Performance Specialists (NPS)
