Details

Position: Medical Assistant

Location: Gurnee, IL

Type: Full Time

Hours: Rotating hours and weekends

Travel: No

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84

The hourly rate depends on experience and other factors.

Responsibilities:
  1. Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
  2. Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
  3. Provide front office support as needed.
  4. Perform basic vitals like BP, height, and weight.
  5. Perform phlebotomy and injections if required.
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent; medical assisting training preferred but not required.
  2. CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
  3. One year of work experience; previous medical office experience preferred.
  4. On-the-job training available for those without prior experience.
