We are seeking new and experienced Medical Assistants to join our team!

As a Medical Assistant you will:

  • Escort patients to rooms, take medical history and vital signs.
  • Assist physicians with examinations and procedures as requested.
  • Clean exam rooms and equipment, and keep them stocked with necessary supplies and forms.
  • Triage phone calls, document patient information, and communicate relevant details to physicians. Return calls as directed.
  • Refill prescriptions by contacting pharmacies under physician guidance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one (1) year of related experience or recent graduation from an accredited program within the last 12 months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Previous work experience is preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service skills and professional conduct.
  • Ability to complete tasks within established timeframes and assist team members as needed.
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and transport patients on stretchers or wheelchairs.
  • Knowledge of sterile techniques and procedures for routine and special treatments.
  • Understanding of infection prevention and safety protocols in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff.

Additional Information:

Compensation:

Pay Range: $21.45 - $30.03
