Major Responsibilities
  • Prepare and room patients for exams, obtain vital signs, and gather/update pertinent health information.
  • Perform laboratory procedures following aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines.
  • Assist physicians/APCs with procedures such as pelvic exams, allergy testing, EMG, cautery, colposcopy, etc.
  • Administer routine medications under physician orders or approved protocols.
  • Follow through with procedures, tests, referrals, and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Perform clinical support tasks like suture removal, phlebotomy, EKG, spirometry, Holter monitor, and prescription refills under supervision.
  • Provide age-appropriate care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles.
Licenses & Certifications
  • LPN: Active license issued by the state and BLS certification (must be obtained within 45 days if not already certified).
  • Medical Assistant: BLS certification within 45 days if not already certified.
Education Requirements
  • LPN: Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
  • Medical Assistant: GED or HS equivalency, completion of an accredited program, or 2 years of recent verifiable experience.
Additional Information

This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus for qualified external candidates. Schedule is 8–9 hours during standard business hours (Mon-Fri 6:45am-5:30pm). Must be able to lift 35 pounds and perform physical tasks as required. Must demonstrate excellent communication, technical skills, and patient care abilities.
