Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) – OBGYN in Highland Park, IL. This full-time role is Monday–Friday 6:30 am–5:30 pm with rotating Saturdays, and travel to other sites as needed.

You will greet patients, document vital signs, allergies and medications, provide front office support, and take basic vitals. CPR is required; MA certification preferred but not required. One year of medical office experience is preferred; on‑the‑job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association) is required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office preferred.
• Graduate of a medical assisting program is preferred but not required.

Hourly Pay Range: $20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Work Hours

Full Time, Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 5:30 pm, with rotating Saturdays 7:30 am - 12:30 pm

Required Travel

Travel to other sites based upon department need.

What you will do

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required

What you will need

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
