Sentara Medical Group Neurology Princess Anne Office is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant in Virginia Beach, VA!

**UP TO $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!**

Hours: Monday-Friday, Dayshift. NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS, OR WEEKENDS!

Role Summary:

The Medical Assistant performs patient care, administrative, and clerical tasks based on training, education, and competency evaluations, under the supervision of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, RNs, or LPNs.

This role ensures a safe environment, addresses safety principles, and demonstrates effective patient care and administrative skills. The candidate should follow department policies, be efficient, and utilize resources responsibly.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or EMT Basic Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Preferred: 1 year of clinical/administrative experience.
