Job summary

Integrated Health Associates (IHA) in Ann Arbor is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Gynecologic/Oncology office. This full-time, day-shift position supports clinicians by recording patient information, taking vital signs, and assisting with procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and completion of an approved MA program with externship or internship, EMT/Paramedic credentials, or CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certification; ongoing CEUs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with externship or internship.
• EMT or Paramedic training may be considered.
• Credentialed MA options include CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC; active CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and escorts to examination room and documents visit reason.
• Obtains patient history, vital signs, BMI, and updates EMR templates.
• Performs in-office procedures and orders under clinician supervision and documents results.
• Administer medications and facilitate prescription renewals as directed by providers.
