Job summary

One Health is hiring a Medical Assistant I for our Glendive, MT clinic. This full-time role (40 hrs/week) offers a starting hourly salary of $18.80–$19.58, with opportunities for certification and career advancement within an FQHC setting.

You will support clinicians with patient examinations, maintain EHR records, prepare rooms, and assist with injections and basic lab tests. A strong team orientation and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver''s license are required.
• Phlebotomy certification is a plus.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or a CNA license is a plus.
• Two years clinical experience preferred, ideally in an FQHC or similar setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

What we are looking for:
