Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Medical Assistant (Non-Certified) for a variable-shift, PRN role in Albuquerque, NM. The MA will support clinical and administrative tasks within a clinic-based setting as part of a care team led by a physician or APN.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic EMR and MS Office knowledge, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Prior clinic or hospital experience is preferred and CMA/RMA certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) knowledge is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is expected.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and before patient care.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Associate's degree.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
