A leading health care provider is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver quality patient care and support clinical operations. The role involves direct patient interactions, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare providers. Candidates must obtain Medical Assisting certification within 12 months and have a high school diploma or vocational degree. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered to eligible applicants.

Medical Assistants are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
The Medical Assistant is a multi-skilled clinical professional working within the scope of practice and in alignment with standards of excellence and quality. The Medical Assistant provides indirect and/or direct patient care under the direction of the provider.
Requires Medical Assisting certification (within 12 months of employment): Certified Medical Assistant (American Association of Medical Assisting), Registered Medical Assistant (American Medical Technologists), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (National Healthcareer Association), or National Certified Medical Assistant (National Center for Competency Testing). If unable to obtain MA certification, an Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE) is acceptable within the same time frame.
BLS Basic Life Support is preferred upon hire and required before independent patient care.
High school diploma preferred; vocational/technical degree in medical assisting preferred. Enrollment in an approved Medical Assistant program is required within 30 days of employment.
One year of healthcare experience or 24 months of clerical physician practice experience preferred.
