Qualifications

Location: 111 Park St Hartford - HH (10012)

Shift: Monday - Friday

Job Responsibilities

Provide clinical and clerical support within the scope of a Medical Assistant, including patient care (vitals, allergy/medical reconciliation, screenings, history, health maintenance, advance directives, virtual health) and indirect tasks (scheduling, check-in/out, referrals, chart prep, prior authorizations). Conduct point-of-care testing with proper documentation.

Qualifications
  • Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic, or Medic certification OR relevant experience
  • Certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association obtained within 3 months of hire
  • All credentials must be maintained throughout employment
Experience
  • At least one year of direct patient care experience or relevant externship preferred
  • EPIC EMR experience is a plus
