Job Description

Provides basic clinical and clerical support within the Medical Assistant scope. Continual training is provided to enhance all aspects of the role.

Qualifications

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic, or Medic Certification OR relevant experience.
• Certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association, obtained within 3 months of hire.
• All credentials must be maintained throughout employment.

Experience:

• At least one year of direct patient care experience may substitute for education.
• Experience or externship in a busy medical office preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
