Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
  • Sign on bonus: N/A
  • Position: Medical Assistant
  • Location: Skokie, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
  • Hours: Mondays - Fridays: 9:00am-6:00pm
  • Required Travel: Yes - Travel to Evanston, IL

What you will do:

  • Greet patients and escort them to exam room
  • Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for office visit
  • Provide front office support as needed
  • Perform basic vitals like BP, height, and weight
  • Phlebotomy and injections may be required

What you will need:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred but not required.
  • Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: One year of work experience required; previous experience in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On-the-job training is provided for those without previous medical assistant training or experience.
