Medical Assistant/MA-C - Sports Medicine at Swedish Spine & Sports Medicine - Cherry Hill & Bellevue

Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Location: Seattle and Bellevue, Washington

Job Description

As a Medical Assistant (MA-C), you will assist with administrative and clinical tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating information in EPIC, and taking patients’ vital signs. Our clinical environments promote teamwork and provide pathways to leadership for MAs interested in career advancement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school with clinical training in a healthcare setting, or
  • Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or
  • Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces, or
  • At least one year of clinical experience as a medical assistant, including vital signs, injections, and medication administration, or
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire, and
  • Within 30 days of hire: BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and
  • Six months of healthcare experience, and
  • Six months of medical assistant experience
Preferred Qualifications

National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire is preferred.
