Job summary

MercyOne Bettendorf is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for our pediatrics team. This full-time daytime role supports physicians by preparing patients, taking vital signs, documenting care, and performing basic clinical tasks.

You will coordinate patient flow, help maintain accurate medical records, and contribute to a positive, patient-centered experience.

Qualifications

• Must have completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.

Shift: Day Shift

Position: Medical Assistant (MA): Pediatrics

Location: Bettendorf, IA

Schedule: 36 hours per week, Day shift, M-F. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with one afternoon off per week (Day TBD)

Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
