Job summary

DocGo is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support home-based patient care in the Sacramento area. You will drive to patient homes, perform directed assessments, and provide basic care under supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider.

Strong emphasis on documentation in our EMR and patient-centered communication. Requirements include MA/CMA/CCMA/RMA certification, valid CA driver's license, at least 2 years in-person MA experience (urgent or primary care), phlebotomy skills, BLS, and

Qualifications

• Must have MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification.
• Active CA driver's license with clean record.
• Minimum 2 years in-person MA experience in urgent/primary care.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based patient care in Greater Los Angeles as scheduled.
• Perform guided assessments and deliver directed treatment under APP supervision.
• Maintain patient records in EMR in accordance with regulations and DocGo standards.
• Communicate with patients about health, meds, and goals of care.
• Adhere to clinical safety standards and performance metrics.
