Job summary

DocGo, Inc. is seeking clinicians to provide in-home care in Greater Los Angeles, delivering directed treatment for complex injuries and illnesses and documenting in the EMR.

You will drive to patients' homes, perform guided assessments under supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider, and coordinate care with telemedicine support, while meeting state regulations and DocGo standards. This role requires MA/CMA/RMA certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 30-40 lbs;

Qualifications

• Certification as MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of in-person MA/CMA/CCMA/RMA experience in urgent care or primary care.
• Active American Heart Association BLS.
• Ability to lift 30–40 lbs.
• Pediatrics experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide DocGo services in Greater Los Angeles by monitoring and providing directed treatment.
• Drive to patients’ homes to provide patient care.
• Engage in guided assessments and provide treatment under supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
• Maintain patient medical records and documentation in the EMR per state regulations and DocGo standards.

Employment Types: Full Time or Part Time

Full-Time Schedule and Availability: Four 10 hour shifts per week. Must be able to work at least 1 weekend day per week.

Part-Time Schedule and Availability: 8 hour shifts. Must have weekday and/or weekend availability.

Position Overview

• You will be providing DocGo services in Greater Los Angeles by monitoring and providing directed treatment common to complex injuries and illnesses.
• Each day, you will drive to patients’ homes to provide patient care.
• While at a patient’s home, engage in guided assessments and provide treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for patients facing barriers to accessing the traditional healthcare system
• Throughout the treatment process, maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our EMR system
• You will be practicing under direction with synchronous telemedicine support

Responsibilities

• Act as a conduit for the medical treatment of the Health Plan Partnerships patient population
• Navigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of care
• Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnoses
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training team
• Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
• Provide care with cultural sensitivity and compassion
• Lead your practice with a patient-centered approach
• Other related duties as deemed necessary

Qualifications

• Must have oneof the following certifications: MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA. (Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant).
• V alid Driver's License in state of residency with 2+ years of driving experience, and an acceptable driving record
• CA Driver’s License (for at least 2 years) and an acceptable driving record
• Must have minimum 2 years of recent in-person experience as a MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA in an Urgent Care, Primary Care, or related setting
• Active and current American Heart Association BLS
• Ability to lift & carry 30-40lbs in a backpack style equipment bag
• Clinical work experience with pediatrics, preferred
