Company Overview

DocGo leads the proactive healthcare revolution with an innovative care delivery platform, providing mobile health services, population health, remote patient monitoring, and ambulance services.

Position Overview

You will provide DocGo services in New York City by monitoring and providing directed treatment common to complex injuries and illnesses. You will drive to patients’ homes to provide care, engage in guided assessments, and deliver treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider.

Throughout the process, maintain medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations and DocGo standards via our EMR system.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a conduit for the medical treatment of the Health Plan Partnerships patient population.
  • Navigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of care.
  • Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnoses.
  • Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training team.
  • Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics.
  • Provide care with cultural sensitivity and compassion.
  • Lead your practice with a patient-centered approach.
  • Perform other related duties as deemed necessary.
Qualifications
  • Must hold certification as MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA.
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residency, 2+ years of driving experience, and acceptable driving record.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent in-person experience as MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA in an urgent care, primary care, or related setting.
  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Active and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to lift & carry 30-40 lbs in a backpack-style equipment bag.
  • Clinical work experience with pediatrics preferred.
  • Fluent bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
