Job summary

Saint Francis Physician Network, LLC, known as Saint Francis Medical Partners, seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in the daily office operations. You will help manage patient flow, perform exams and procedures, and educate patients under physician supervision.

The role includes triage, vitals, EKG and Phlebotomy as applicable, with emphasis on accurate medical documentation and a courteous, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Must complete an accredited Medical Assisting Program or have 3 years of relevant experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification required through one of the listed certifying bodies with 90 days to obtain.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Typical requirement: Medical Assistant diploma or 3 years in healthcare if no diploma.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with the daily operations of the physician’s office.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with patient care, exams, procedures and education.
• Perform triage, monitor and record vitals of visiting patients.
• Perform EKG and Phlebotomy as applicable.

Job Summary

Certified Medical Assistant to assist physician with the daily operations of the physician’s office. Qualifications

Education:

Required: High school diploma or GED

Required: Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program OR three years of relevant work experience in lieu of completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program

Certification:

Required: Medical Assistant Certification required through one of the following; National Healthcare Association (NHA), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant by the American Medical Technologist (AMT), National Center for Competency Training (NCCT), the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), or Healthcare Professional Registry of the US (HPRUS) (Will allow 90 days to obtain certification)

Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience:

Required: Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school OR three years of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting in lieu of Medical Assistant diploma

Preferred: At least one year of relevant work experience
