The Medical Assistant or LPN collaborates with the dermatologist on the patient care team. Responsibilities include hands-on patient care duties such as assisting with patient flow, supporting the provider, cosmetic procedures, surgery assistance, EMR scribing, lab duties, and phlebotomy.

Starting Pay Range: $22-$28 per hour

Key duties include:

1. Providing direct assistance during surgical and medical procedures (excision, biopsies, wart treatments, cosmetic services, etc.)
2. Room patient and stay with them to scribe for the provider in EMR
3. Performing clinical and administrative duties such as injections, phlebotomy, instrument cleaning, specimen handling, scheduling, and patient education.
