Job summary

Lange Recruiting is assisting a well-established Richmond primary care practice in adding a Medical Assistant or LPN to its clinical team. The role combines compassionate patient care with strong teamwork and a stable weekday schedule.

You will work closely with one primary provider, performing exams, EMR tasks, and patient education while keeping a focus on preventive care and chronic disease management. Competitive hourly pay and solid benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• MA certification or LPN licensure or equivalent clinical experience.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Genuine passion for patient care and a team-oriented attitude.
• Primary care or internal medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories.
• Assist assigned provider with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as permitted.
• Maintain accurate EMR.
• Coordinate referrals, prescription refills, prior authorizations, and diagnostic testing.
• Provide patient education, follow-up communication, and ongoing clinical support.
• Build lasting relationships with patients while supporting preventive care and chronic disease management.

Join one of Richmond's most well-established and highly respected primary care practices! We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a practice known for delivering exceptional, personalized patient care.

Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with a half-day off every week! You will be assigned to one primary care provider, working closely with that provider each day to develop a strong working relationship while delivering exceptional, personalized care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits

• Schedule:7:30/7:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with a half-day off every week!
• LPN Compensation: Up to $28 per hour
• Medical Assistant Compensation: Up to $24 per hour
