Job summary

Cook Family Health Center provides primary healthcare services for Bloomington-area Cook Group employees and their families. The Medical Assistant supports providers and patients through intake, exams, and care coordination.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, vitals, EHR entry, education, and medication administration. Evening hours until 6pm with rotating Saturdays may apply; on-site clinic operations support required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
• 1–2 years of technician experience in a medical office environment; primary care preferred.
• Current CMA or LPN preferred.
• Microsoft Office suite experience.
• Previous multi-line phone & customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Patient intake and assisting provider.
• Setting up equipment and assisting during exams and procedures.
• Collecting lab specimens; phlebotomy.
• Patient education and communication.
• Administer medications/injections.
• Schedule outside appointments.
• Order stock and manage disposal of biohazards.
• Perform ECGs and maintain sterile technique.
• Clean and stock exam rooms and labs.
• Electronic Health Records data entry.

Responsibilities

Must be available evenings until 6pm and rotating Saturday's until 12:30p

• Patient Intake & Assisting Provider
