As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and fostering positive relationships with our patients. You will assist with routine lab operations, perform vital procedures, and work closely with providers to ensure the highest standard of care. If you enjoy patient interaction, thrive in a team environment, and are eager to grow in the medical field, this role is for you!

Responsibilities

Perform manual vitals and routine blood draws

Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider

Maintain and monitor lab equipment, ensuring proper documentation of lab results and quality controls

Manage in-house labs or prepare specimens for external labs with accurate order tracking

Conduct weekly inventory and assist with ordering supplies

Provide assistance with front desk duties as needed

Exhibit strong work ethic, professionalism, and a positive attitude while interacting with patients and team members

Requirements

High School diploma or GED (proof required)

Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification (preferred)

Minimum of 3 months of relevant medical assistant or phlebotomy experience OR documented completion of 180 hours of externship

Ability to perform venipuncture and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections

Criminal background check required

Available To Work The Following Hours

Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Up to 4 Saturdays a month: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (with Monday or Wednesday off when working a Saturday)
