Location: California State Prison, Los Angeles County (LAC), Lancaster, CA
This classification is subject to Section 5, Hiring-Above-Minimum (HAM) Authorization. The authorized HAM rate is $1,769.20.
Position Overview: Under supervision of the SRN II/III and clinical supervision of a Physician, the Medical Assistant provides support in various healthcare settings, performing patient procedures, supporting clinic operations, communicating with patients and team members, and performing administrative duties to promote efficient, appropriate, and cost-effective healthcare.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active certification status is required prior to appointment. Note: Training and Development assignments are not considered at this time.

Refer to the Class Specification for minimum requirements. Multiple positions are available. Work location is in-office, part-time (2/5 time), working 16 hours per week. Salary ranges from $1,769.20 to $2,009.60 monthly.
