Job summary

Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care in San Antonio is seeking a Medical Assistant to support pediatric providers in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will triage patients, assist with exams, administer vaccines, and perform CLIA-waived tests, while maintaining safety and compassionate care for children and families.

Requirements include a high school diploma and Medical Assistant certification or equivalent, BLS, and flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Strong understanding of patient safety and clinical standards.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.

Status: Seasonal- Full Time

Pay: $16-$18 depending on experience

When We Operate (Schedule)

• Clinic Hours are as follows: Mon - Fri: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Sat-Sun: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Opportunity to travel to other clinics as needed
• Rotating weekends

Nice to Have

• Pediatric or urgent care experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
