Job summary

Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care in San Antonio is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a fast-paced pediatric setting. You will triage patients, assist with exams and procedures, and ensure accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include administering medications and vaccines under safety protocols, performing CLIA-waived tests, and helping manage patient flow during busy periods. AHA BLS, high school diploma, and MA training are required; evenings and weekends availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant education, certification, military experience, or qualifying training.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Strong understanding of patient safety and clinical standards.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.

Status: Seasonal- Full Time

Pay: $16-$18 depending on experience

When We Operate (Schedule)

• Clinic Hours are as follows: Mon - Fri: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Sat - Sun: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Opportunity to travel to other clinics as needed
• Rotating weekends

Nice to Have

• Pediatric or urgent care experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
