Zusammenfassung

Rural Health Care Inc dba Aza Health is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant/Lab Technician in Daytona Beach, FL to support nurses and providers with procedures and patient care. You will collect samples, log encounters, and perform CLIA‑waived tests to support accurate diagnostics.

The role requires current Florida MA certification, proficiency in specimen collection, and careful documentation in the medical record while working Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am–6:30 pm.

Qualifikationen

Must have current valid Florida medical assistant certification.
Experience with venipuncture and specimen collection preferred.
Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
Availability to work Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am–6:30 pm.

Aufgaben

Collects patient samples for diagnostic tests via venipuncture, swabs, or finger sticks.
Logs all lab encounters and maintains lab manifest accurately.
Performs CLIA waived tests as directed by the provider.
Logs tests such as STD tests for government record keeping.
Pulls lab results charts for provider review.
Performs diagnostic tests and screens (e.g., DNA tests, drug screens).
Corrects diagnostic codes as needed for insurance billing.
Collects and stores specimens for outside testing.
Assists nurses or providers with procedures and exams.
Documents accurately in the medical record.
