Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare in Utah Valley Clinic, Provo, UT is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians, gather patient information, and assist with visits to deliver high-quality care.

Under clinician direction, you will provide patient care, communicate clearly with patients by phone and in person, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. BLS, MA training or RN/LPN licensure and MA certification are preferred; outpatient experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant program OR at least one year of MA work experience OR current active RN/LPN licensure in Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team members.
• Ability to protect patient privacy and PHI, per HIPAA guidelines.
