Intermountain Health seeks a Medical Assistant to provide care in ambulatory clinics across Utah County, Park City, and Heber. Travel is required; the schedule is variable and clinics operate from early morning to late evening.

The role emphasizes assisting clinicians, effective communication, and teamwork to deliver high-quality patient care. Minimum qualifications include completing a Medical Assistant program (or MA experience) and current BLS.

Job Description:A Medical assistant has accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs. A Medical Assistant will be responsible for communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions.This position requires at least 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience.Location: Travel is required to clinics across Utah County, Park City, and Heber.Schedule: Variable. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.
