Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the practice onsite Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:30pm. As true partners to our providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the care team. The ideal candidate profile is an experienced, adaptable Medical Assistant who is confident in their clinical abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
  • Assisting during office visits (rooming/vitals, examinations, procedures, immunizations, and treatments as directed)
  • Performing clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management (administrative support, phone calls, test results, prior authorizations, coordination of care, etc.)
  • Maintaining neat, clean, stocked, and safe exam rooms and patient care areas
  • Interacting with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner consistent with their needs.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a formal medical assistant training program
  • CPR certification from a program approved by the American Heart Association

  • Clinical support experience, specifically in primary care and/or specialty care setting
