Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for the day shift in Connecticut. The role involves preparing patients for office visits, assisting with patient flow, and documenting in medical records while handling calls and correspondence to support efficient care delivery.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1–2 years in a clinical setting, and preferably a Medical Assistant certification to join an award-winning health system focused on high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred.

What you will do

Performs tasks including escorting patient to treatment room, obtaining pertinent patient information for medical record, and documenting information in patients' chart

Processes patient telephone calls and correspondence for the practice

Organizes and prioritizes duties to optimize efficiency and promote positive patient outcomes. Scribes information on a regular basis

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• Preferable 1 to 2 years' experience in a medical office/hospital setting involving medical assisting and direct patient care
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
