Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Medical Assistant to support daily office visits with patient prep, chart documentation, and direct patient care. You will handle phone calls and correspondence while maintaining organized workflows to ensure accurate medical records and efficient patient throughput.

The role requires a High School Diploma (certification preferred) and 1–2 years’ experience in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Prefer 1–2 years' experience in a medical office/hospital setting involving medical assisting and direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for office visits.
• Escort patients to treatment room and document information in medical record.
• Handle patient telephone calls and correspondence for the practice.
• Organize and prioritize duties to optimize efficiency and promote positive patient outcomes; scribe information regularly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Preferable 1 to 2 years' experience in a medical office/hospital setting involving medical assisting and direct patient care

• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
