Job summary

HealthRIGHT 360 seeks a Medical Assistant to support the Integrated Care Center Clinic, handling clinical and administrative tasks within a team-based setting. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist clinicians with examinations, perform phlebotomy and basic lab tests, and provide patient follow-up in a federally qualified health center environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, maintaining supplies, and ensuring smooth clinic operations while delivering compassionate care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience from a certified Medical Assistant program.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills with certification desired.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians in the examination process. Perform office tests including vision screening, spirometry, EKG, rapid strep, UA and urine pregnancy tests.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, TB tests, breathing treatments.
• Perform intake, including vital signs, list chief complaints, allergies, immunization histories and complete chart forms.
• Place patients in rooms and prepare them for examination.
• Clean, prepare and stock examination rooms.
• Active participation in integrated team-based care and scheduling.
• Monitor and ensure quality assurance of basic clinic functions.
• Oversee patient flow and ensure smooth, efficient clinic experience.
