Job summary

Ultimate Medical Academy is seeking an adjunct instructor to deliver quality instruction at our Clearwater, FL campus. You will teach using approved curricula, manage student progress, and provide support to promote retention and success.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or higher, healthcare field background, and teaching experience. On-site duties include standard office hours, curriculum development participation, and collaboration with program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Equivalent of 15 semester credits hours in the subject field.
• Academic preparation in the specific courses taught.
• Graduation from a program in the healthcare field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of occupational experience.
• Active industry certification/licensure if applicable to healthcare instruction.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Teaches material from approved curriculum according to schedules to ensure student satisfaction.
• Prepares for each week of instruction and uses relevant software and materials.
• Evaluates student coursework against outcomes and supports achievement.
• Grades assignments and posts grades in a timely manner.
• Provides constructive feedback to students on performance.
• Maintains a positive, student-centered learning environment.
• Supports distance education for Online campus as assigned.
• Adheres to UMA policies and participates in required meetings.
