Northwest Suburban College (NWSC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a strong background in medical assisting, and a commitment to fostering student success in a hybrid learning model that combines both in-person and online instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective instruction in medical assisting courses, including clinical and administrative procedures, through both in-person and virtual platforms.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with program objectives and accreditation standards, ensuring they are adaptable to a hybrid learning environment.
• Provide hands-on training in medical techniques, equipment usage, and patient care during on-campus sessions.
• Utilize technology and online tools to facilitate virtual learning and maintain student engagement.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, practical evaluations, and online activities.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning, both on-site and online.
• Stay current with industry trends and maintain professional certifications as required.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credentials.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical or administrative medical assisting role.
• Experience with hybrid or online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Canvas, Blackboard) is preferred.
