Job summary

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for the Pulmonary Clinic in Bellevue. You will greet patients, obtain vitals, room patients, and coordinate care in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires MA-C certification, WA state program completion, and CPR prior to start date. Shift is 40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm with no weekends or holidays; sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or equivalent satisfying WA state standards is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) through WA State DOH is required.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for the healthcare practitioner.
• Obtain vital signs and room patients in the Pulmonary Clinic.
• Provide care coordination and in-basket support.
• Complete prior authorizations and document patient interactions in EMR.

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking afull-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our Pulmonary Clinic in Bellevue.

Job responsibilities include greeting and preparing patients for the healthcare practitioner, obtaining vital signs, rooming, care coordination, providing in-basket support, completing prior authorizations, and documenting patient interactions via electronic medical record.

Full-time / 40 hours per week

Monday - Friday / 830am to 5pm - 8 hour shift - No weekends or holidays

Sign-on bonus for eligible new hires

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.

• Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) through WA State DOH required.
