Qualifications

• Medical assisting education or related education preferred
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems preferred
• Healthcare experience required

Responsibilities

• Know MA scope of practice and work within it
• Manage patient flow and delays in the exam rooms
• Pre-visit prep: records, labs, imaging, test results
• Document patient records and maintain files in clinic databases
• Assist providers during visits and procedures
• Prepare exam rooms, supplies and equipment; obtain consent
