Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a Medical Assistant for Immediate Care in the Northern Suburbs (Buffalo Grove, Kildeer, Mount Prospect and Schaumburg). This full-time role offers 38 hours weekly, with hours Monday to Friday 8 am - 8 pm and rotating holidays; weekend work included.

You will perform front- and back-office support, assist clinicians, handle travel to local Immediate Cares and Walk-in Clinics as needed, and maintain CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Medical assistant certification/registration required (AAMA/ARMA/AMT/NCMA/AMCA/NCCT/NHA).
• Previous Medical Assisting experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
