Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an MA training program including pharmacology, anatomy/physiology, medication administration, and clinical externship.
• CoxHealth-approved certifications: CMA/AAMA, RMA/AMT, CCMA/NHA, NRCMA/NAHP, NCMA/NCCT, RMA/AAMP are required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and data entry.
• Measure and record vital signs and collect demographics or medical information.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist with room and equipment cleaning.
• Stock supplies and assist with medication administration under supervision.
• Carry out delegated clinical tasks under provider supervision.
