Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Medical Assistant III to join our Urology team in Orlando, Florida.

Position Overview

Nemours is seeking a Medical Assistant III (MA) to join our Urology department. The MA III acts as a key liaison between patients, families, providers, and the care team. Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, assisting with clinical data collection and review during patient intake, ensuring providers have necessary information, and documenting pertinent medical history. The MA III performs and assists with clinical procedures as directed by the provider and according to departmental protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Medical Assistant
• Advanced clinical and administrative skills
• MA Certification required (see below); MA school preferred
• Acceptable certifications include CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA
• American Heart Association BLS Certification within 90 days of hire
• Experience in quality improvement initiatives and advanced patient care
• Willingness to travel to other locations as needed
