Job summary

UCLA Outpatient Clinics is looking for a Medical Assistant III, Float to provide administrative and patient care support in department clinics in Los Angeles. This position requires a medical assistant diploma or certificate and offers a competitive salary range of $29.46 to $38.87 hourly.

Your role will include assisting healthcare professionals, ensuring smooth patient flow, and working flexibly across various clinics as needed. Preferred qualifications include bilingual abilities and experience with computerized patient care systems.

Qualifications

• BLS Card from AHA or ARC required.
• Knowledge of normal and abnormal symptomatology.
• Skillful administration of oral, IM, intradermal, and subcutaneous medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and patient care support to physicians.
• Travel to clinics throughout the community as assigned.
• Support patient sample testing and scheduling for referrals.
