Qualifications

• Valid CMA/RMA certification or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive patient intakes and record vital signs
• Assist with examinations, minor procedures, wound care, and tests
• Perform EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection
• Prepare lab samples and point‑of‑care tests
• Maintain infection control and safety across clinical areas
• Support triage, care coordination, and transitions across settings
• Educate patients on medications and preventive care
• Document data in the EHR accurately
• Schedule and track appointments, referrals, and test results
• Verify insurance and assist with authorizations and coding
• Monitor inventory and prepare examination rooms
• Participate in quality improvement and safety drills
