Qualifications

• Two years experience as Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MA scope of practice and department policies.
• Perform rooming tasks: vitals, med reconciliation, history, screenings.
• Assist provider with procedures as ordered.
• Laboratory duties: venipuncture, specimen handling, POCT.
• Administer medications and vaccines per rights.
• Manage refills, authorizations, scheduling, referrals as needed.
