Nemours Children's Health is seeking Medical Assistant I-III to support patient flow, data collection, and record-keeping in a pediatric care setting. The role includes assisting with clinical procedures and ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
Positions require a high school diploma or GED, completion of a certified MA program or MA certification, and BLS via AHA within 90 days. Certifications CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA are accepted.
The MA is an important liaison between the patient/family, provider, and other care team members. The MA is responsible for coordinating patient flow by assisting in clinical data collection and review for patient intake, ensuring the appropriate information is available to the provider, and entering pertinent history in the medical record. The MA performs and assists with clinical procedures in accordance with divisional/department responsibilities as directed by the provider and per protocol.
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday. The practice operates extended hours, and candidates must be available to work one evening per week until 6:30 p.m. and a minimum of six Saturdays per year to support patient access and operational needs. Flexibility to support clinic operations during practice hours is required.
