Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support clinical teams in Orange, CA. Under the delegation of a licensed practitioner, you will perform MA II duties and assist with patient care in accordance with policies and procedures.

Graduate from an accredited program or MA apprenticeship, with at least 6 months of healthcare experience and MA duties such as vital signs, injections, and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months of Healthcare experience
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
