Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
• Graduate of a medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Completed two years of medical training in US armed forces.
• At least one year of MA experience with vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification on hire.
• Within 30 days: American Heart Association BLS.
• Minimum 6 months healthcare experience.
• Minimum 6 months MA experience.
• Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification.

Education

Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program

Graduate of a medical assistant apprenticeship program

Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces

One year of medical assistant work experience (vital signs, injections, meds)

Washington Medical Assistant Certification

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

6 months Healthcare experience

6 months Medical Assistant experience

National Medical Assistant Certification (Preferred)
