Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support licensed practitioners and assist in delivering patient care in the Seattle area. The MA II will perform tasks under policy and procedure guidelines and be fully capable of the MA I scope of practice.

This roles emphasizes patient-centered care within a collaborative clinic team. Required certifications include WA MA, BLS CPR within 30 days, and a solid track record of clinical skills such as vital signs, injections, and medication

Qualifications

• Must complete an accredited MA program with hands-on clinical training.
• Completion of a medical assistant apprenticeship program is accepted as equivalency.
• Two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces qualifies.
• Minimum one year of MA work experience with clinical skills (vital signs, injections, medication administration).
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification is required upon hire; National Provider BLS CPR within 30 days of hire.
