Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support patient care under the delegation of licensed practitioners. This role builds on MA I responsibilities and requires full competency in clinical tasks within the assigned clinic.

Preferred candidates include graduates of accredited MA programs or MA apprenticeship, with BLS certification within 30 days and at least 6 months of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent.
• Has completed approved MA apprenticeship or military medical training.
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS certification.
• At least 6 months healthcare/medical assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner in patient care under supervision.
• Perform MA II duties in accordance with clinic policies and procedures.
