Responsibilities

• Performs clinical and non-clinical duties in the back office.
• Maintains up-to-date medical records and supports revenue cycle activities with the front office.
• Adheres to immunization and medication administration procedures, including labeling and storage.
• Performs CLIA testing instructions, collects specimens, and documents results in the EHR.
• Fulfills provider orders within scope of practice and provides discharge instructions.
• Coordinates continuity of care with internal health departments.
• Maintains exam room supplies and prepares rooms for procedures.
• Identifies safety hazards and reports them immediately.
• Interviews patients to collect visit reason, history, and chief complaints; records vitals and intake data.
• Documents services and interactions in proper charting procedures.
• Maintains regular attendance and performs other duties as required.
