Job summary

Qualifications

• Required – 1 to 2 years in the clinic setting.
• Required – Current Medical Assistant Certification.
• Preferred – High School Diploma or GED and Completion of a Medical Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic physical assessment on patients and collects data essential for treatment.
• Administers medications as ordered with 100% accuracy and performs treatments as prescribed.
• Answer and respond to patient care related calls and document physician instructions accurately.
• Assist in data management, including updating patient records and clinic charges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
